"Phoenix" |
|---|
Aaron set out to make a sculpture for an entry way. He had the piece of juniper but it sat on his work table for three days while he began to conceptualize where to begin. He carved into the wood with his mind until he felt comfortable beginning the sculpture. From there he slowly began to carve into the piece, paying close attention to what the wood was doing, but not forgetting his pre-conceptualizations.
The Phoenix is made from Alligator juniper and African mahogany. It is inlaid with White Buffalo stone, turquoise, and coral.
